My awareness always was and always will be. It seems to me, when I meditate in particular, that from someplace deep within I am  observing the world out there. I cannot imagine a time that I have not been this same observer. However, outside I notice that my body and circumstances constantly change. Yet inside I am always the same observer, the same awareness. Never aging, never changing.

Looking in a mirror I see that my body is changing. Yet inside I feel ageless, the same as always. The same as I was as a kid, as a adult, and now as an old man.

Therefore, I feel that my awareness, was before birth, and will still be after the death of my body. I cannot imagine otherwise. My awareness just is.

Before manifesting I was nothing that could be thought.
At the end of being something I go back
to be nothing that can be thought.
Thats all I know.
